We take much for granted in our lives, and for us more fortunate folk, it can be easy to forget about the struggles that others face. A day trip to PP Bala’s Children in Tanjung Tuan, Port Dickson on 23rd March 2019 was, therefore, a valuable reminder in compassion for our SJIS Interactors and teachers. After a short briefing upon arrival, our Interactors hiked up to the Lighthouse. The students took on the tough uphill trek in great spirits, laughter filling the air as the stunning sea view came into view. The trek was followed by a beach clean-up and fun-filled games at Monkey Bay, thoroughly enjoyed by all.

SJIS made the trip with Rotary Club Metro Kuala Lumpur and was aimed at building leadership skills among the Interactors.
