Two students from St John’s International School (SJIS) participated in IJMO on 27th July 2019. This competition was held in Bangunan Peperiksaan Universiti Malaya.
International Junior Math Olympiad (IJMO) is the latest annual mathematical problem-solving assessment organised by SMO Education Group. Keeping in mind the main goal of providing a strategic ground for students to interact and compete against their worthy opponents, IJMO is the ideal platform to showcase each student’s potential and Mathematical talent in the International Math competitions arena.
IJMO empowers students with deep and effective conceptual understanding, as well as logical thinking skills beyond Grade-level. This enables them to be more aptly logical and analytical in solving challenging Math Olympiad problems.
The questions were carefully designed to test their advanced level of problem-solving skills.
The official result was released on 28th July 2019. Congratulations are in order for the SJIS achievers below:
