SMASH IT, SERVE IT, WIN IT, LOVE IT!

Our talented table tennis team served, spun and smashed their way to winning some medals at the Majlis Sukan Sekolah-Sekolah Wilayah Keramat (MSSWK) 2019 in January. Three days (11/1-13/1) of tough competition were held at SMK Seri Rampai, and St. John’s International School sent a strong team of confident and competitive players.

Our ping pong players showed their prowess against some tough competition, playing hard and fair to win a Silver medal in the u-18 (male) category and a Bronze in the u-15 (male) category. It was a proud moment for the school to see our students wearing their medals and showing off their certificates – an honour for the school’s sports club.

SJIS would like to thank and congratulate the teams, and Mr Ganesan, Ms. Puteri and Ms. Joys for their never-ending support. Thanks also to the team coach for their excellent guidance in getting the team on the medals podium this season!
