With great skill and in great spirit, our U15 and U18 badminton teams played hard and fast to win several medals in the individual and doubles’ events at MSSWPKL.

Both our U15 Boy’s Doubles teams, Tan Jing Kai & Lim Eu Jin and Wong Zhi & Ng Jovan played remarkably well to secure a Bronze Medal Our U15 Boy’s Singles player, Ang Xi Hang, also came away with a brilliant Bronze.

Our U18 team was carrying quite the weight of expectation on their young shoulders, but rose magnificently to the occasion, putting great effort into winning the Bronze medal. Congratulations to our Singles Boys, Lam E Heng & Bryan Law, and our Singles Girls, Hazel Lai & Ronnie Loh The biggest cheer of all goes to our U18 Boys Singles player Roshan A/L Thevendran who won a spectacular Silver medal. Well done, Roshan!

SJIS would like to congratulate the whole school badminton club for their boundless effort and energy. The hours of patience and practice have paid off, and there is real promise for the future of SJIS Badminton after some great victories here.

Special thanks must go to our Badminton Coach Mr .Ridzhuan and both of our SJIS teachers, Ms. Miresah and Mr. Benjamin, for their knowledge, support and inspiration during training and competition. We must also thank Ms. Devagi for making sure the team arrived at the venue safely and on time. Cheers to everyone involved who helped make the tournament a success!
