In this era of technological development, computer and automation are synergising in new and exciting ways. Machine learning will be a catalyst, teaching remotely connected robotics to perform practical functions with little to zero human intervention. To celebrate Industry 4.0, SJIS initiated a collaboration with Sandbox.asia on 10th September 2019 in ICT Laboratory 1, Campus 2. The objective in mind was to equip students with the knowledge of games development and coding.
It was a fruitful session as SJIS’ Vice Principal, Dr Inderjeet, shared his views on the merge. Tengku Munawir, the Director of Sandbox.asia also took the opportunity to share his engaging speech on the meaningful collaboration. The hallmark of the event was the signing of collaboration agreement between Professor Albert Ladores, Director of St. John’s Education Group and Tengku Munawir, Director of Sandbox.asia.
Our students also presented some interesting games which they have developed, like ‘Can You Survive the Rampage?’, ‘Storm Area 51’, ‘CATBUS’ and ‘Penguins Can Fly’, impressing our esteemed guests.
